  1. I have frequent bouts with runawamania. Only when I’m in contact with human beings for too long, though.And I think it’s fading; my synapses are a little worn out on that rush, I think, after living as a red-headed white girl in a small city in rural Japan…

  2. when sarah and i were roomates in college we would always tell each other that we wanted to run away. it was our way of saying that we just wanted to escape it all and disappear. i think of that a lot, especially when i read some of c.s. lewis’ books.
